Be sure to go to Alicia's blog for the pictures and story of the volcano dumping on us yesterday. She put up a couple digital scrap book pages today and yesterday, she put up dozens of pictures of the cloud coming and of the snow before and after the ash. It is really fascinating.
What you don't see in the pictures is the smell. Like sulfur, of course, but much much stronger and it had something else in it too. I didn't expect to get volcano gases this far away so that was a curious surprise. We love things science. It is great fun.
